About Never Too Late to Learn Project

The "Never Too Late to Learn" project provides education and psychosocial recovery for Burundian refugee children, ensuring access to Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) and Accelerated Education Programs in refugee camps.

Project Goals

• Provide quality education for refugee children who have missed schooling
• Implement Accelerated Education Programs for over-age learners
• Establish Early Childhood Care and Development centers
• Provide psychosocial support for trauma-affected children
• Train teachers in refugee-responsive pedagogy

Impact & Achievements

From 2018-2022, we enrolled 4,200 refugee children in education programs, established 12 ECCD centers, trained 180 teachers, and helped 1,500 children transition to formal schooling systems.
