About AHADI Project

The AHADI Project (Adolescent Health and Development Initiative) focuses on improving the sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) of adolescents in Tanzania. Implemented in partnership with World Vision and UNICEF, this program supports adolescent girls and young mothers with comprehensive SRH knowledge and services.

Project Goals

  • Increase access to accurate SRHR information for adolescents
  • Reduce teenage pregnancies and early marriages
  • Improve access to youth-friendly SRH services
  • Empower adolescents to make informed decisions about their health
  • Reduce stigma around adolescent sexual health issues

Impact & Achievements

Since its inception, the AHADI Project has reached over 5,000 adolescents across three regions of Tanzania. We've established 15 youth-friendly health corners, trained 200 peer educators, and seen a 40% increase in adolescents accessing SRH services in project areas.
