About KIJANA TWENDE Project

The KIJANA TWENDE (Youth Let's Go) project focuses on youth leadership, civic engagement, and entrepreneurship programs that equip young people with skills to actively participate in governance and community development.

Project Goals

• Develop youth leadership and civic engagement capabilities
• Promote youth participation in local governance and decision-making
• Provide entrepreneurship and vocational skills training
• Foster social cohesion and community development initiatives
• Create youth-led advocacy platforms for policy influence

Impact & Achievements

Since 2018, KIJANA TWENDE has trained over 3,000 youth leaders across Tanzania, supported the establishment of 45 youth-led community initiatives, and facilitated youth participation in local government budgeting processes in 12 districts.
